[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide qualified, licensed consultants to provide architectural services and other professional services to perform strategic facilities planning/visioning and complete the necessary studies and requirements to ultimately submit a successful School Construction Grant Application. This study will be considered pre-referendum work, which will be used to assist in preparing the education specifications for each building in the school district.
- This final project must be balanced with elements of facility condition, space and educational programming need with affordability and full community support and acceptance. This strategic facilities planning study must consider and weigh the value of educational, safety and handicap accessibility improvements and the cost to the community as essential to its success.
- Prepare a strategic facilities plan, complete with a recommended sequencing timeline of school construction for new construction or improvements or some combination of both. This plan should provide a recommendation for swing space if required as part of the overall recommendation.
- For the optimum scenario, identify conservative estimated reduced costs and potential City revenues by selling the locations that would no longer be used for school purposes including, but not limited to:
a. Reduced Costs
i. Student transportation
ii. Utilities
iii. Maintenance
iv. Insurance
v. Repairs, replacement and renovation
vi. Returning currently outsourced special educational programs to NPS
- Make one best scenario recommendation and provide alternatives

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
