Government Authority located in Norwalk, Connecticut; USA based organization looking for security guard services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide security guard services to the government authority located in Norwalk, CT.
A. Be at least 21 years of age,
B. Be a high school graduate or equivalent,
C. No record of criminal convictions(s) other than minor traffic violations,
D. Be physically and mentally capable of performing the routine daily tasks of this position without hazard to him or her or others. Contractor agrees that each guard assigned to perform under this contract is in good medical condition and does not suffer any impurities which would interfere with his or her being able to perform assigned duties and responsibilities,
E. Provide uniformed, unarmed security services in performance,
F. Concierge setting requiring articulate well-groomed individual with good written and verbal communication skills. Security guards and security supervisors provided under this contract must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to communicate with visitors, prepare incident reports, handle inquiries, provide directions, schedule room reservations, resolve conflicts, etc.,
G. Guards shall possess professional and interactive skills to effectively respond to inquiries, directions, room reservations, conflicts, etc. Provide professional, polite, and courteous services to visitors and clients while helping to ensure their safety and enjoyment while visiting the City buildings,
H. Ability to work well under pressure,
I. Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations such as building security, fire alarm events, medical emergencies, and building maintenance issues,
J. Willingness to work weekends and holidays,
K. Guards shall possess the ability to make accurate decisions, carry out directions, ability to follow up, and interact with various representatives,
L. Guard replacements are expected to be fully trained and require no coaching on the site.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 10,2020.
(3) A contract term will be for five years.
