[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide medical advisor services to plan, review, evaluate and revise the school health program, consult with the school nursing supervisor or director on an ongoing basis during the school year and with school administrators at least annually, participate in school health activities, such as the school wellness committee or health council and other appropriate committees, advising the immunization program as required by state statute and local or regional policy, consulting with the school nurse supervisor or director in the development of nursing protocols for the assessment and management of students’ health care problems, providing consultation and, when appropriate, medical direction to the school nurse supervisor or director regarding in-school management of student medical problems and providing standing orders for medications and medical treatments to the government authority located in East Hartford, CT.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 20, 2018.
(3) Contract period will be three years.
