[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide FMLA program management services to support the city human resources and will coordinate all leave management activities, to include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: to select an experienced firm with a creative solution that will effectively manage our FMLA program in order to improve organizational effectiveness, to select a firm that will ensure legal compliance, improve employee engagement, and reduce administrative burden, to select a firm that will proactively manage our account by providing us with benchmarking and trends based upon the employees out on leave to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.
- Claim Management and Processing: Issuance of initial FMLA claim package to employee, Determination of FMLA and non-FMLA leave eligibility, Preparation of approval and denial correspondence to employees, Verification of medical certification, Notification to employer and employee of FMLA and non-FMLA leave end date, Detailed case management, Efficient FMLA and non-FMLA leave Claim processing, Access to FMLA medical specialists and attorneys, Action plan to address leave abuses, Improved communication to management and employees on FMLA and leave management issues, Customer service, call center and/or help desk; including bilingual services, Claim Tracking, Documentation and Reporting, Tracking of all employee leave requests and absences, Tracking of leave utilization by employees including, re-certification, intermittent, etc., Complete documentation for each claim, including documentation of communications with employees, Ability to track leave concurrently with disability claims, if any, Track reduction in absenteeism and lost time to control absenteeism cost, Technology or automated tracking tools and resources, Detailed reports on employee leave usage, Reports to review program results, Data backup, security and disaster recovery plan.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
