[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide architectural firms to provide design services for the preparation of plans and construction documents for a roof and window replacement project to the government authority located in Hamden, CT.
- Roof:
Provide design and engineering services for a roof replacement of approximately 82,000 s.f. The intended system shall be high-performance modified bitumen roof system with tapered insulation as required.
- Windows:
Include services for the replacement of existing building aluminum windows throughout, include aluminum entrance doors.
- Assess the structural condition of the roof and windows and verify that it is structurally sound under current code requirements
- The development of complete plans and specifications for a new roof for ea.
- Full representation through the Office of School Construction & Grants Review process for the school’s roof.
- Participation in the roofing contractor scope review and selection process.
- The hiring of any consultants required to complete the job and review of all submittals.
- The on-going inspection of the roof as the installation progresses to ensure compliance with the specifications.
