[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide information technology contracted services to the government authority located in East Hartford, CT.
- Agency seeks to enter into a multi-year indefinite quantity contract with qualified and appropriately certified (Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco) technology services companies to provide contracted technicians for substitute or special projects work. Services will be provided throughout the EHPS portfolio consisting of 18 buildings plus potentially additional Town of East Hartford locations. - Work will be performed throughout K-12 schools/District/Town offices therefore contractors must be able to perform their services in a neat, clean, and professional manner. High quality and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to install and configure computer systems including desktops, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, printers, smartboards.
• Understanding of how to install software and image systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technology issues related to hardware and software
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues for computing devices on the Lan or wireless
• Can test and do preventative maintenance on Computer systems
• Work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the team
• Ability to understand what the clients are explaining and translate into terms for them to understand
• Ability to be available in a short time frame as needed
• Ability to work independently once given direction
