Government Authority located in Essex, Connecticut; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for annual servicing of navigational aids and dock floats.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide annual servicing of navigational aids and dock floats to the government authority located in Essex, CT.
- Navigational Aids: Anchorage buoys - 9 buoys from Main Anchorage (A - J, excluding C), 2 buoys from Meadows Anchorage (A & B) and 2 "Rocks" buoys in southwest corner of Main Anchorage.
- Channel markers - 11 in North Cove, 2 in South Cove.
- Floats - Town Dock at Main Street, Mack Lane and Town Park (ramps for Mack Lane and Town Park to be stored with floats).
- The contractor will record and report the GPS position of Buoys and Channel Marks and must be presented for payment (see payment schedule above).
- Removal to be performed on or after November 15, 2020 and completed by November 30, 2020. Installation must be completed by April 15, 2021, but no earlier than March 15, 2021.
- Navigational Aids to be positioned in accordance with data maintained by EHMC.
