Government Authority located in Connecticut; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for digital marketing services.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide digital marketing services to comprehensive services to support its brand awareness and admissions recruiting goals including strategy development, creative content, project management, campaign execution, and analytics/reporting.
- University Marketing Capabilities:
• Eastern has an in-house graphic design team
• Eastern used an external consultant and its in-house web development team to implement a new website in 2019-20; it uses Cascade CMS.
• We have a VR-enabled virtual tour (You Visit)
• The Office of Admissions uses a fulfillment house and Folder Wave CRM; looking at Salesforce CRM • Eastern has a robust and broad-based social media presence, including official University accounts and many department level Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. Our goal is to increase staffing in this critical area and maintain internal control of our organic social media.
• Eastern has relatively little digital marketing experience. That includes a few targeted campaigns managed by an outside firm; occasional paid Facebook/Instagram advertising managed internally; and annual Spotify and Pandora buys.
• Other paid advertising managed/executed internally includes substantial print (weeklies, Courant, College Fair guides, radio (NPR), television (CPTV), and indoor display (malls).
- The selected vendor will meet minimum qualifications and use its experience as a digital marketing contractor working with higher education clients to design and execute an annual digital marketing program for Eastern Connecticut State University. Deliverables to include strategy-based campaign plan, creative development/testing, execution of advertising buy/distribution, campaign adjustments (ability to change creative within 48 hours), campaign management, training of Eastern staff as needed, and regular reporting of campaign analytics. (As clarification, this RFP is not a request for brand development, website design, or overarching marketing and advertising consulting services.)
- Potential Digital Advertising/Marketing Strategies: • Paid Search • Online display ads • Digital Radio/Streaming Music (Spotify, Pandora, You Tube) • Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) • Digital platforms of traditional media (i.e. CNN; Courant.com) • Google Search • Mobile • Third Party (i.e. Niche) • Personalized Email • Retargeting Eastern website • Geofencing • IP Targeting • Promote Eastern Admissions Events, e.g. Open House • Targeted lists (using Eastern-supplied lists)
