[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide online curriculum service for dementia training to the government authority located in Waterbury, CT
- An online, web based dementia specialist program.
- The dementia basics and advanced care online training program is nationally recommended by the centres for Medicare and Medicaid services (CMS) to meet its new national nursing aide training requirements. Get nationally recognized dementia-care training. Meet the national CMS nursing aide training requirements
- Online dementia care training curriculum consists of (6 courses/33 modules/33 hours) and offer a credentialing exam.
- The online training program has 5 professional training programs and 1 family training program (6 courses/33 modules/33 hours)
- Dementia Basics
- Dementia Advanced Care
- Dementia-Related Behavior
- Activities of Daily Living
- End-of-Life Dementia Care
- Dementia care for families that encompasses more than 20 years of research and training in the field of dementia care. Quality person-cantered care approaches guided by the Alzheimer’s association dementia care practice recommendations.
- Programs were developed alongside the top dementia care researchers.
- Video footage of dementia experts, actual caregivers, real people living with dementia (no actors), and family members from over 100 facilities across 25 different states provide a level of authenticity not found in any other online dementia training
- Credentialing program allows you to be recognized for completing the highest quality dementia care training. You will become more adept at connecting with the individual, understanding different types of behaviour as communication, and helping the individual through their daily life by having learned new techniques and mind-sets.
