[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide secondary advisory services to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.
- Evaluate the holdings in the private market portfolio. A summary of the private market portfolio as of September 30, 2019
- Provide a recommendation on the potential sale of certain of private market holdings to assist the CRPTF in achieving the objectives outlined
- The identification of assets to be considered for sale, including the expected secondary market valuation for each asset included in the Designated Holding and the total for the designated holdings.
- An analysis of structures and strategies that may be utilized to sell the designated holdings, including recommendations to optimize the outcomes consistent with the CRPTF’s objectives.
- As requested by the treasurer or the agency, present the firm’s recommendation to the investment advisory council.
- Assembling all required information and documentation for the Designated Holdings.
- Preparation and dissemination of all marketing materials to qualified potential buyers, with such materials in compliance with all applicable securities laws.
- Responding to all inquiries from potential buyers, including providing follow-up information as appropriate and in compliance with all confidentiality requirements.
- Collecting indicative offers from potential buyers, including pricing and other commercial term.
- Negotiating price and terms proposed by potential buyers.
- Providing a review of all final offers from potential buyers, including a selection recommendation to the agency.
- Provide on-going advice and counsel to the treasurer and the CIO regarding the sale or purchase of private assets through the secondary market.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 7, 2020
