[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide solid waste and recycling services to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.
- Department of energy and environmental protection shall have the option to visit the contractor facility to inspect and approve bins and labelling prior to issuance of a purchase order without advance notification
- Recyclable items generated in office settings include high grade white office paper, corrugated
cardboard, newspaper, boxboard, magazines, coloured ledger paper, clean and empty glass food
and beverage containers, clean and empty metal food and beverage containers, and clean and
empty plastic containers
- Food wastes, used food containers that are not glass or metal; including Styrofoam and polystyrene containers, juice pouches and other non-recyclable waste items
- Trash bins sized four cubic yard, three cubic yard and two cubic yard, where specified must be accessible by a top hinged access lid
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 3, 2020.
