[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide health and welfare broker of record services to the government authority located in Rocky Hill, CT.
- The Broker will be expected to provide the necessary for the analysis, selection,
establishment and/or renewal of MIRA’s medical, dental, vision, life, and disability (both
short-term and long-term) benefits offered to its employees (Health and Welfare Benefits).
(A) Health and Welfare Benefits Administration: - Provide consultation to MIRA regarding claims handling by carriers or Third-Party Administrator (TPA), and audit such claims handling on MIRA’s behalf.
- Provide an annual stewardship report, including policy summaries, review of past year’s activities, and outlook for coming year’s market conditions.
- Provide periodic updates on Affordable Care Act changes, regulations and potential issues as related to the Plan, Employees and MIRA.
- Assist MIRA in the development and timely distribution of Employee Notifications pursuant to the Affordable Care Act.
(B) Health and Welfare Benefits Placement Services: - Prepare marketing specifications, and negotiate renewals of Health and Welfare Benefits.
- Upon request, assist MIRA with Health and Welfare Benefits policy language, plan contract reviews, and make recommendations regarding benefit offerings to be provided by or required of MIRA.
- Provide administrative services personnel to work with MIRA, as needed, in developing and reviewing alternative benefit programs.
- Conduct two meetings annually with MIRA staff to address open enrollment, benefit plan
updates and administration.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 8, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
