[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide healthcare industry investigations and litigation services for representing, assisting, advising, and providing legal counsel to the state in any and all aspects of investigation or litigation for restitution, injunctive relief, and any other relief authorized by law,
concerning suspected violations of law in the provision of healthcare goods and services, including, but not limited to pharmaceutical and medical device industry sales, pricing and marketing practices, which conduct has caused harm to the State or to consumers, to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.
- Review, analysis, investigation and research necessary to carry out the Services,
- Preparing, writing and providing to the attorney general or his designee all documents and instruments, in electronic, magnetic, paper and any other form, which are necessary or appropriate to carry out said services.
- Making all court and agency appearances and filings and representing the state in all related actions, pending or threatened, suits, claims, investigations, legal, administrative, mediation or arbitration proceedings, whether at law or in equity, in any forum (collectively, actions as
determined to be necessary or appropriate in consultation with the attorney general and/or his designee, including any appeals,
- Providing staff, equipment, and expertise to minimize the administrative burdens imposed on state employees, officials, and agencies in the course of rendering the Services,
- Hiring at the counsel’s sole expense and consulting with expert witnesses, consultants, mediators and investigators as may be reasonably and necessarily required and as approved by the attorney general.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 29, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
