[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide transportation, mobility and parking on-call traffic engineering services on an as needed basis for work related to traffic studies and design, ITS planning and design, signal inspections and other related types of services to the government authority located in Norwalk, CT.
(2) all-inclusive but is meant to provide samples of the types of services that might be required under this on-call task-based traffic engineering services.
• Preparation of engineering studies and design plans for traffic signals and signal systems
• Traffic signal communications design
• Procedural testing and inspection of fiber optic communications
• Integration and testing of traffic signal equipment with City Traffic Management Center
• ITS studies and system component design
• Simulation and modelling of the Urban and Non-Urban network
• Design of roadway signing and pavement marking plans
• Conduct traffic counts, signal warrant analysis; accident investigation; travel time and delay studies; parking assessment; intersection capacity and pedestrian safety studies
• Design and review of maintenance of traffic/work zone traffic control plans
• Preparation of technical reports, cost estimates and construction documents
• Bicycle planning studies and design
• Preparation of funding applications
• Attendance at public information meetings and hearings
• Construction inspection and administration services
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than August 6, 2019.
(4) Contract period will be for three years.
