[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide cyber security service to evaluate the city's current cyber security risks, create and implement a strategic information security program to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.
- Identify and track technology-related risks across the city and schools; allowing these systems to be managed to acceptable levels of risk.
- Implement an acceptable governance framework and associated operating principles that are able to identify, assess and mitigate cyber-risk, including cyber-attacks that jeopardize operations and security.
- Develop and implement assurance and audit related activities.
- Assess cyber-security vulnerabilities and risks by performing an independent external scan and vulnerability assessment (penetration testing) at the beginning of the engagement.
- Evaluate existing policies, practices, procedures, guidelines, procurement mechanisms and risk reporting structures; assess their effectiveness in managing information technology risk throughout the city and develop a five-year information security plan aligned to the city goals and objectives. the assessment must review current organizational structure and the availability of internal resources in support of the five-year information security plan.
- Develop a systemic and structured approach to identify and track technology-related risk across all city and school systems that may adversely affect their ability to meet its business goals and objectives.
- Assisting the security staff with future related contracts to ensure the work is correctly aligned with the goals and requirements of the cyber-security program.
(2) The term of the contract shall be one year.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
