Government Authority located in Connecticut; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for communications and marketing services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide communications and marketing services includes
a) Public Communications Services:
- Plan, execute, and communicate all strategic public relations on behalf of the authority;
- Work with the Authority to prepare strategic messaging;
- Seek and place feature stories across news and media outlets that portray the authority in a favourable light and further its strategic, communications and business goals;
- Maintain contact with news and media outlets, reporters and editors of importance to the authority;
- Draft and distribute press releases and advisories;
- Draft and distribute commentary and op-ed pieces, as appropriate;
- Develop content for a variety of printed and digital materials, including but not limited to authority logos, taglines, or other key branding, advertisements (digital and print), folders, brochures, newsletters and e-newsletters, presentation slide decks, reports, policy papers, one-page, fact sheets, event invitation, business cards, trade and exhibition booths, clothing and other material as needed;
- Schedule, plan and execute press, media and public education and community events in furtherance of the authority’s communications objectives;
- Conduct media training and spokesperson training for designated personnel
- Provide media relations counsel, including, local, regional, national and industry press, preparation for interviews, monitoring new media, and engaging media to assist in shaping coverage;
b) Creative Services:
- Provide design services for any branding-related, digital or printed collateral materials
c) Digital, Website and Social Media Services:
- Development and execution of the authority’s digital media strategy;
- Provide strategic counsel, content and design, and management of authority website
- Create, maintain and grow the authority’s social media presence includes Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, etc. and incorporate public relations and e-newsletter content into social media
d) Government Relations:
- Monitor legislative calendars for committee hearings; floor actions or their activity;
- Notify authority personnel of important legislative events;
- Recommend action by authority personnel, allies and supporters;
- Coordinate action with allies of the authority relative to legislation;
- Provide support and guidance with regards to authority matters with elected and appointed bodies in communities benefited by the authority.
(2) Contract term will be one year.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
